My First Week at Sea!

The first week at sea has been a whirlwind. The rocking of the boat made everything feel unsteady, and seasickness hit harder than I expected. Even something as simple as walking in a straight line became its own challenge.
Originally, we were headed to Nantes, France, but a diversion brought us to Porto, Portugal instead. It turned out to be a blessing. We spent time exploring castles and old churches, each with its own history and beauty. I also made it to the beach, which was a perfect break from the constant motion of the ship.
Life onboard has been just as memorable. With no Wi-Fi to fall back on, everyone turned to cards — and we played a LOT. Those games became a staple of the week, filling hours with laughter and competition.
It’s only the beginning of this journey, but even with the rockiness and the unexpected changes, it already feels like an adventure worth remembering.
