Help Luke on his global learning adventure!

On September 9, 2025, I will embark on the journey of a lifetime by boarding Semester at Sea’s MV World Odyssey: a university, a home, a once-in-a lifetime opportunity. Semester at Sea is a comparative study abroad program founded in 1963. Over 70,000 alumni who have participated in the comparative experience. Participating in this Semester at Sea voyage is an investment in my future and the experience is one I know I will gain value from for a lifetime.

I am committed to making this happen. I have been applying for merit scholarships (so far receiving $950) and plan to begin working immediately following graduation, to reach my fundraising goals. I have set a personal goal for myself to earn and/or raise $10k toward my total cost. If you would like to help me reach my goal, please consider contributing any amount that works for you…every dollar helps!

Thank you in advance for helping make my dream a reality.   -Luke

Tuition

The tuition cost ($23,500), includes 12 college credits, meals, insurance, internet, etc. And each Semester at Sea course includes a day-long, in-country Field Class. These instructor-led, experiential programs are designed to bring course concepts to life in the countries we visit.

Housing

Because of my height (6'5") I've requested a double cabin ($12,500), and I've already found a roommate!

Semester at Sea’s unique multi-country, comparative, experiential approach to international education means we will have an opportunity to engage in Field Classes and Field Programs of our choice. Stay tuned to hear more about which I've selected!
